Yrityspolitikkaa, literally “corporate policy,” refers to the framework of guidelines, principles, and strategies that a business organisation follows to achieve its objectives and manage its operations. The concept is common in Finland and other Nordic countries where business communities have long advised companies to adopt structured policy documents that outline how decisions should be made, how resources should be allocated, and how the company should respond to external pressures such as regulation, market competition, and societal expectations.

The main aims of yrityspolitikkaa are to promote transparency, consistency, and accountability across the organisation. By codifying the company's values, risk appetite, and decision–making hierarchy, the policy reduces ambiguity and ensures that employees at all levels understand what is expected of them.
