X1D

The X1D is a digital mirrorless medium format camera manufactured by Hasselblad. Introduced in 2016, it marked a significant step in the evolution of professional photography by being the first mirrorless camera to feature a medium format sensor. This innovation combined the high image quality characteristic of medium format with the portability and handling of a more compact camera system.

The X1D's sensor is a 50-megapixel CMOS chip measuring 43.8 x 32.9 mm, offering significantly larger pixels and greater dynamic range compared to typical full-frame sensors found in DSLRs and other mirrorless cameras. This results in exceptionally detailed images with smooth tonal transitions and excellent low-light performance.

Designed with an ergonomic grip and a minimalist interface, the X1D aims for an intuitive user experience. It features a high-resolution electronic viewfinder and a touch-enabled rear LCD screen for easy navigation and image review. The camera also incorporates built-in Wi-Fi and GPS functionalities, aiding in workflow and location tagging.
