Wordlelike

Wordlelike is an adjective used to describe games that imitate Wordle’s core mechanics. Typically, a player attempts to guess a target word within a fixed number of guesses, usually six. After each guess, the game provides feedback by coloring tiles: a letter in the correct position is green, a correct letter in the wrong position is yellow, and a letter not present in the target word is gray. The puzzle is usually single-use per day for a given word length, though some variants exist.

Wordlelike games are often published as web or mobile apps and are inspired by Wordle’s simple, shareable

In development terms, Wordlelike titles require a curated word list, a puzzle generator, and a feedback engine

design.
