Weatherresistive describes a property of materials, components, or systems that are able to withstand exposure to typical weather conditions without significant degradation or loss of function. It implies resistance to mechanisms of weathering, including moisture intrusion, UV radiation, temperature cycling, wind-driven rain, freeze-thaw damage, and chemical attack from pollutants or salt.
