Vérmérséklet, also known as body temperature, is a crucial vital sign that indicates the overall health and well-being of an individual. The normal range for an adult human is generally considered to be between 36.1°C and 37.2°C (97°F and 99°F), although this can vary slightly depending on the method of measurement and individual factors.

Body temperature can fluctuate throughout the day, with it typically being lowest in the early morning and highest in the late afternoon. Factors that can influence vérmérséklet include physical activity, clothing, humidity, and emotional state. For example, physical exertion can cause a temporary increase in body temperature, while exposure to cold environments can lead to a decrease.

In medical settings, vérmérséklet is often measured using digital thermometers, which provide quick and accurate results. However, in some cases, a mercury thermometer or ear thermometer may be used.
