Värähtelysuuntiin, or "vibration directions" in English, refers to the orientation or axis along which an object or material vibrates when subjected to mechanical oscillations. This concept is fundamental in fields such as physics, engineering, and materials science, particularly in the study of wave propagation, structural dynamics, and acoustic phenomena.

In mechanical systems, vibrations can occur along one, two, or three primary axes: longitudinal (along the length of an object), transverse (perpendicular to the length), or torsional (rotational around an axis).
