VirtualWheres

VirtualWheres is a cloud-based platform that enables users to create, explore, and collaborate within immersive virtual spaces anchored to real-world locations. It combines geospatial data with live communication to let groups meet at a chosen site, navigate a shared virtual representation, and interact with location-linked media, objects, and annotations.

It integrates 3D mapping, geotagging, and spatial audio, with WebXR-compatible clients. The system uses GeoJSON for geospatial data, glTF for 3D assets, and edge computing to deliver low-latency streaming.
