Vihreäoksamurtuma
Vihreäoksamurtuma, also known as a greenstick fracture, is a common type of fracture that occurs in children. It is named after the way a young tree branch bends and breaks, with one side splintering and the other remaining intact. In a greenstick fracture, the bone bends and breaks on one side, but does not completely fracture through. This type of fracture is more common in children because their bones are softer and more flexible than adult bones.
Greenstick fractures typically occur as a result of a fall or a direct blow to the bone.
The prognosis for greenstick fractures is generally very good. Most children recover fully with no long-term
