Vashi
Vashi is a suburban node of Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Located on the eastern shore of Thane Creek, it serves as a major commercial and residential hub within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Developed as one of the first nodes of the Navi Mumbai project in the 1970s and 1980s, Vashi grew into a densely populated area with a mix of apartment complexes, offices, and retail spaces. Administratively, it falls under the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) and is part of the Thane district.
