Treatment for sports injuries depends on the type and severity of the injury. Initial management often follows the RICE protocol: Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation. This is followed by medical evaluation, which may include physical therapy, medication, or in some cases, surgery. Rehabilitation is a vital part of recovery, aiming to restore strength, flexibility, and function to the affected area, and to prevent re-injury.
