Ultraääniaallon
Ultraääniaallon refers to sound waves with frequencies higher than the upper audible limit of human hearing. This limit is typically considered to be around 20 kilohertz (20,000 Hz). While humans cannot hear these frequencies, many animals, such as bats and dolphins, can produce and perceive ultrasound. The generation of ultrasound often involves piezoelectric crystals that vibrate when an electric voltage is applied, or vice versa. Conversely, ultrasound can be detected by similar piezoelectric transducers which convert the mechanical vibrations caused by sound waves back into electrical signals.
The applications of ultrasound are widespread and diverse. In medicine, it is a vital diagnostic tool, allowing
