UIPM

UIPM (Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne) is the international federation that governs modern pentathlon, the multi-discipline sport comprising fencing, swimming, equestrian show jumping, and a final combined running and shooting phase known as the laser-run. The federation was established in 1948 and is recognized by the International Olympic Committee as the sport’s governing body, responsible for global governance, competition rules, and development of the sport through its national member federations.
