Tuottajavastuulliset
Tuottajavastuulliset, literally meaning “producer‑responsible” in Finnish, refers to the legal and economic framework that assigns primary responsibility for the management of products to the manufacturers who place them on the market. The concept is commonly implemented through the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) system, a policy tool that aims to lower environmental impacts from product life cycles, especially waste generation, by encouraging design for recycling, reuse and durability.
