Tuletuls are a fictional species originating from the planet Xylos in the Andromeda galaxy. They are known for their bioluminescent qualities and their unique symbiotic relationship with the crystalline flora of their homeworld. Physically, tuletuls are small, roughly humanoid in shape, with translucent skin that emits a soft, shifting glow. This bioluminescence is believed to be a form of communication, changing in color and intensity to convey emotions or warnings.

The diet of a tuletul consists primarily of energy absorbed from the Xylosian crystals. They have specialized organs that can process the light and mineral content of these formations, making them entirely self-sufficient within their native environment. Their reproductive cycle is complex and closely tied to the Xylosian planetary cycles, with new tuletuls emerging from crystalline cocoons.

Tuletuls are generally a peaceful and introspective species. Their society is organized around communal living and a deep respect for their environment. They possess a rudimentary form of telepathic communication, which further enhances their ability to cooperate and understand each other.
