Transformues

Transformues is a term used to denote a broad class of operations that convert objects, data, or states from one form to another, typically while preserving selected structure, properties, or information. It functions as an umbrella concept across disciplines to describe change with constraint.

In mathematics and geometry, a transform is a function that maps elements from a set to another set. Transformues may be linear, affine, or nonlinear, and can be combined to form transformation sequences. Important properties include injectivity, surjectivity, invertibility, and invariants under the transformation.
