Testistrateegia

Testistrateegia is the Finnish term for a test strategy, a high-level document that describes the approach to testing a software product or release. It defines the overall testing objectives, scope, resources, schedule, and acceptance criteria, and it serves as a guiding plan for how testing will be conducted.

The purpose of a testistrateegia is to align testing activities with business goals and requirements. It sets testing priorities, determines the levels and types of testing to be performed, and establishes how risk will influence testing decisions. A typical strategy covers functional testing, non-functional testing (such as performance, security, and usability), and the role of automation, environments, and data management.
