Temnitztal is a municipality in the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district in Brandenburg, Germany. It was formed on December 31, 2001, through the merger of ten previously independent municipalities. The name "Temnitztal" is derived from the Temnitz river, which flows through the municipality.
