Regulators coordinate through the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) to ensure consistency across member states and to facilitate cross-border services. Regulatory decisions often cover market analysis, licensing rounds, interconnection, pricing, and enforcement actions against violations.

Enforcement tools typically include imposing penalties, revoking or suspending licenses, ordering corrective actions, and requiring information or reporting from operators.
