Takistussõidul, commonly known as show jumping in English, is an equestrian sport where a horse and rider partnership navigate a course of obstacles. The objective is to complete the course faultlessly and within a set time. Obstacles are designed to be jumped, and include elements such as verticals, oxers, and combinations. Faults are incurred for knocking down an obstacle, refusing to jump an obstacle, or exceeding the time limit.

The sport originated in the late 19th century and became a popular competitive discipline. It is now an integral part of major equestrian events, including the Olympic Games and the World Equestrian Games. Competitors are judged on their ability to clear each obstacle cleanly, maintain a controlled pace, and demonstrate good horsemanship. The size and difficulty of the obstacles vary depending on the level of competition, from amateur classes to elite international Grand Prix events.

Riders must possess a high level of skill in riding, course planning, and communication with their horse. The horse must be athletic, brave, and responsive.
