Säätöohjaus

Säätöohjaus, often translated as control engineering or regulation control, is a field of engineering that deals with the behavior of dynamical systems with inputs, and how their behavior is modified by feedback. The primary objective of säätöohjaus is to design systems that can maintain a desired output or state despite disturbances or changes in the system's environment. This is achieved by using sensors to measure the system's current state, comparing it to a desired state, and then adjusting control inputs to minimize the error.

The core principles of säätöohjaus involve understanding system dynamics, which describe how a system responds to inputs over time. Mathematical models are crucial for representing these dynamics, allowing engineers to predict system behavior and design effective controllers.
