Syöpätaudeissa, known in English as oncological diseases or cancers, refers to a group of diseases characterized by the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells. These cells can invade and destroy surrounding tissues and can also spread to distant parts of the body through the bloodstream or lymphatic system, a process called metastasis. There are many different types of cancer, each classified based on the type of cell from which it originates and its location in the body.
