Supporterscultuur refers to the shared cultural practices, values, and identities of dedicated fan communities surrounding sports clubs, most commonly football clubs in Europe. It encompasses physical rituals, such as chants, banners, and coordinated displays, as well as the informal norms that guide interactions among supporters and between supporters and club institutions. The term is often applied to groups that hold a collective stake in the club’s success and are organized in formal or informal structures, including fan clubs and supporters’ trusts.
