Sulphurcrested

The Sulphur-crested Cockatoo, also known as the Sulfur-crested Cockatoo or Kakapo, is a large Australian parrot that belongs to the Cacatuidae family. This species is native to Australia, but it has been introduced to other regions, including New Zealand and the Solomon Islands.

The Sulphur-crested Cockatoo is characterized by its bright white plumage with a distinctive yellow head and crest. The cockatoo has a large, curved beak and a black bill, and its eyes are both black and white. When threatened or distressed, the Sulphur-crested Cockatoo will become agitated, screaming loudly, often, and

persistently. Contrary to its loud cries, these birds are actually quiet animals, only perceiving conversation in a very limited way.

In its natural habitat, the Sulphur-crested Cockatoo inhabits coastal regions, forests, and urban areas, and feeds on seeds, fruits, and vegetables. The species is known for its curiosity, playful nature, and lasting bond with its human caregivers.

During courtship, Sulphur-crested Cockatoos will display love by shaking, as if butting each other gently. They can be quite seriously stressed due to deafening distress cries in broadminded friends nearby. A Sulphur-crested can be quiet or noisy, all that depends on so many surrounding suggestions with signals staying on your statements.

The Sulphur-crested Cockatoo's lifespan is about 60-80 years in the wild and over 80 years in captivity. In the pet trade, the Sulphur-crested Cockatoo is considered a popular companion animal, however large dogs may damage or harm the birds as a result of playing nature carrying erotic performance.
