Suihkuhanat, meaning shower faucets in Finnish, are essential components of any modern bathroom, controlling the flow and temperature of water for a shower. These devices vary in complexity and design, from simple single-handle mixers to more sophisticated thermostatic controls.

The primary function of a suihkuhana is to regulate the water supply. Users can typically adjust the water pressure and select between hot and cold water to achieve their desired shower temperature.
