Stereiotarkka refers to a type of target shooting technique commonly used in competitive and recreational shooting sports, particularly in disciplines such as rifle shooting, biathlon, and air rifle competitions. The term originates from Finnish, where "stereio" means "target" and "tarkka" means "accurate" or "precise." This method emphasizes consistency, precision, and mental discipline, making it a fundamental skill in many shooting disciplines.

In stereiotarkka shooting, participants fire multiple shots at a stationary target from a fixed position, typically at a distance of 10 meters or more. The goal is to achieve the highest possible score by placing shots as close to the center of the target as possible.
