Steganalysen
Steganalysen, or steganalysis, is the field of study focused on detecting the presence of steganography—the practice of concealing information within ordinary data. The aim is to determine whether a data object such as an image, audio file, video, text, or network transmission contains hidden payload, and to recover or assess the concealed content if possible. Steganalysis is a part of information security and digital forensics and is often contrasted with steganography (the hiding process) and cryptanalysis (breaking encrypted data).
Techniques in steganalysis span a range of approaches. Statistical and structural analysis examines inconsistencies in the
Steganalysis applies across multiple media domains, including digital images, audio and video, text, and network protocols.
