Sphero

Sphero is a brand of autonomous, app-controlled robotic balls designed for play, learning, and experimentation. The original Sphero ball is a compact, spherical robot approximately 74 millimeters in diameter that contains a motor, sensors, and a rechargeable battery inside a durable outer shell. It is steered by commands sent from a smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth and illuminated by an LED ring for feedback and effects. Built-in sensors, including a gyroscope and an accelerometer, allow it to monitor its orientation and motion as it travels across flat surfaces.
