Sooritusärevus, also known as performance anxiety, is a type of anxiety that arises in situations where a person feels they are being judged or evaluated. This can occur in various contexts, such as public speaking, taking exams, performing in sports, or even in social interactions where one feels the need to impress. The anxiety stems from a fear of failure, judgment, or making mistakes.
