Sokrato
Sokrato is a term that refers to a philosophical method attributed to the ancient Greek philosopher Socrates. This method, often called the Socratic method, is a form of cooperative argumentative dialogue between individuals, based on asking and answering questions to stimulate critical thinking and to draw out ideas and underlying presuppositions. The core of the Socratic method involves a dialectical process where one person asks a series of probing questions designed to expose contradictions or gaps in the other person's reasoning. This is not intended to be an aggressive interrogation but rather a collaborative effort to arrive at a deeper understanding of a concept or issue.
The Socratic method is characterized by its emphasis on questioning assumptions, defining terms, and examining beliefs.
