Siebdrucktechnik
Siebdrucktechnik, commonly known as screen printing, is a versatile printing method that transfers ink or other materials onto flat substrates using a mesh screen stretched over a frame. The process begins with the creation of a stenciled pattern on the screen, typically by coating the mesh with a light-sensitive emulsion, exposing it to a photographic film of the desired image, and washing away the unexposed emulsion. The resulting openings allow ink to pass through onto the substrate when a squeegee is drawn across the screen.
The technique is widely employed across various industries, including textiles, ceramics, electronic components, packaging, and signage.
