Sanya

Sanya is a prefecture-level city in Hainan Province, China. Situated at the southern tip of Hainan Island on the coast of the South China Sea, it encompasses a coastal urban area and surrounding rural districts. The city has developed rapidly as a tourist destination since the late 20th century and is known for its tropical scenery, beaches, and resort facilities.

Transportation: Sanya Phoenix International Airport serves domestic and international routes. The Haikou–Sanya High-Speed Railway connects Sanya with Haikou and other parts of Hainan. The Port of Sanya handles passenger ferries and cargo ships, supporting tourism and trade. The city hosts educational institutions such as Sanya University and several other colleges.
