Sahhariidist
Sahhariidist is a term sometimes used to refer to a particular branch or interpretation within the Salafi movement. It is named after Muhammad Nasir al-Din al-Albani, a prominent 20th-century Albanian Islamic scholar who lived and worked primarily in Jordan and Saudi Arabia. Al-Albani was known for his rigorous methodology in authenticating hadith (sayings and actions of the Prophet Muhammad) and for his emphasis on returning to the practices of the earliest generations of Muslims, known as the "salaf" (pious predecessors).
