SODIMMformaadis is a fictional memory module form factor concept designed to extend the SODIMM family for future compact computing devices. Design and features: The concept envisions a module similar in external footprint to standard SODIMMs but with an expanded edge connector and revised notch/keying to prevent incorrect insertion. It would support higher-speed memory technologies (combinations of DDR5-like signaling and possibly LPDDR-like power rails) and offer optional on-module features such as ECC and thermal monitoring.
