SNCO stands for Senior Non-Commissioned Officer, a rank and role designation found in many military organizations, particularly those with a structured non-commissioned officer (NCO) corps. The term is commonly used in the United States Armed Forces, where it refers to military personnel who hold ranks above the junior NCO level but below commissioned officers.
