Ruokakoodit is a term used to describe standardized identifiers that are used to uniquely identify foods within Finnish retail, manufacturing, and public sector information systems. They cover a range of coding practices, from consumer-facing barcodes to internal product codes used by producers and suppliers.

The most widely recognized form of ruokakoodit is the barcode system, particularly the GS1-based EAN/UPC codes that appear on food packaging and are scanned at points of sale.
