Rotationmeasuring refers to the process of quantifying the rotational motion of an object. This can involve determining its angular velocity, angular acceleration, or angular displacement. Various sensors and instruments are employed for rotationmeasuring, each suited to different applications and precision requirements.

Commonly used devices include encoders, which are electromechanical sensors that convert rotational movement into electrical signals.
