Resistanssilähtöjä

Resistanssilähtöjä, known in English as "resistance outputs" or "resistor outputs," refers to a method of transmitting electrical signals where the signal level is determined by a resistor. This technique is often employed in industrial automation and electronic systems to communicate status or measurement values. Instead of a direct voltage or current output, a resistor is placed in series with the signal path. The voltage drop across this resistor, or the current flowing through it, then represents the signal.

The primary advantage of resistanssilähtöjä is its inherent robustness against electrical noise. The signal is less susceptible to interference compared to simple voltage signals, making it suitable for environments with electromagnetic disturbances.
