Rent-A-Girlfriend, known in Japan as Kanojo, Okarishimasu, is a romantic comedy manga series written and illustrated by Reiji Miyajima. It follows Kazuya Kinoshita, a college student who, after being dumped by his girlfriend, decides to use a "rental girlfriend" service. He meets Chizuru Mizuhara, a seemingly perfect rental girlfriend. Their relationship becomes complicated when Kazuya's grandmother and mother meet Chizuru, leading Kazuya to maintain the illusion of a real relationship.

The series explores Kazuya's internal struggles, his developing feelings for Chizuru, and the ethical questions surrounding the rental girlfriend industry. Chizuru, despite her professional demeanor, also harbors her own personal ambitions and insecurities. The narrative often involves misunderstandings, awkward situations, and the gradual blurring of lines between their rental arrangement and genuine affection.

Rent-A-Girlfriend began serialization in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine in July 2017. It has been adapted into an anime television series by TMS Entertainment, with the first season airing in July 2020, followed by subsequent seasons. The manga has achieved significant popularity, spawning numerous spin-offs and related merchandise. The story continues to develop Kazuya's relationships with Chizuru and other women he encounters, including Mami Nanami and Ruka Sarashina, who also become involved in his life.
