Reformerings

Reformerings is a term used to refer to the act or result of reforming—changes intended to improve systems, institutions, or practices within a society or organization. The form is uncommon in English; more typical terms include reform, reform movement, or reformations (plural of reformation). The concept encompasses efforts to alter policies, governance, or social norms, and can occur across political, economic, religious, educational, and cultural domains.

Historically, reform movements have sought to expand rights, streamline administration, or modernize economies without overthrowing existing order. Notable examples include the Protestant Reformation of the 16th century, and later state-led reforms such as legislative and welfare-state expansions, legal codifications, and economic liberalization in various periods and regions.
