RFSL

RFSL, or Riksförbundet för sexuella och personliga rättigheter, is the Swedish Federation for LGBTQ+ Rights. It is the largest LGBTQ+ organization in Sweden, founded in 1950. RFSL works to promote the rights and improve the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex people. The organization engages in advocacy, education, and provides various support services.

RFSL operates on national, regional, and local levels through its numerous branches across Sweden. Its work encompasses lobbying for legislative changes, raising public awareness on LGBTQ+ issues, and combating discrimination and prejudice. They are active in campaigning for equal rights in areas such as marriage, adoption, and protection against hate crimes.

RFSL is a member of InterPride and is affiliated with the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association (ILGA).
