Quasicanonical
Quasicanonical refers to a state or system that closely resembles a canonical ensemble in statistical mechanics but exhibits some deviations. The canonical ensemble is a fundamental concept describing a system in thermal equilibrium with a heat bath at a constant temperature. In this state, the probability of a system being in a particular microstate is proportional to the Boltzmann factor, exp(-E/kT), where E is the energy of the microstate, k is the Boltzmann constant, and T is the temperature.
