Päevalill

Päevalill is the Estonian word for sunflower, referring to the plant genus Helianthus, most commonly Helianthus annuus. These are large, striking flowers known for their heliotropic behavior, meaning young flower heads track the sun across the sky. Päevalill plants are characterized by their tall, sturdy stems and large, disc-shaped flower heads, typically with bright yellow ray florets surrounding a dark central disc.
