Puitpaneele

The term covers both solid wood panels and engineered panels finished to resemble wood, and it is commonly encountered in architecture, interior design, and carpentry.

Materials commonly used for puitpaneele include solid wood such as oak, pine, beech, or walnut, as well as engineered options like plywood or medium-density fiberboard (MDF) with a wood veneer. The choice depends on budget, desired appearance, and environmental conditions. Typical panel thickness ranges from about 6 to 20 millimeters for interior walls.
