Publikums

Publikums is the genitive singular form of the German noun Publikum, meaning the audience. In standard usage, the nominative form is das Publikum, and the genitive form is des Publikums. The word is often encountered in phrases indicating possession or relation to the audience, such as die Reaktionen des Publikums (the audience’s reactions).

In everyday language, Publikums is not used as a standalone nominative form. When referring to the audience simply, German speakers usually say das Publikum.
