Produksjonsklare

Produksjonsklare is a Norwegian adjective used to describe items that have completed the required readiness steps and are authorized for production or distribution. It indicates that the item meets predefined criteria for operational use and may move from development toward production, or from pilot to full-scale manufacturing.

In software development, produksjonsklar means that the code and feature are integrated, have passed unit, integration, and performance tests, and are validated for security and privacy. It typically includes release notes, a rollback plan, monitoring, and support readiness. Formal sign-off from product management, engineering, QA, and operations is often required, and a production readiness gate or checklist is used to verify criteria such as reliability, scalability, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.

In manufacturing, a batch or production line is produksjonsklar once the production process is validated, equipment is calibrated, and quality controls are established.
