Pridobitelj

Pridobitelj, also known as a gatherer, is an old Slovenian job title for someone who collected and sold rocks and minerals from the mountains. Pridobitelji would venture into the rugged terrain, searching for valuable materials such as limestone, marble, and gems.

Their work played a significant role in the Slovenian economy, particularly in rural areas, where people depended on these natural resources for various industries, including construction, stone carving, and jewelry making.
