Portaveus is a fictional coastal city and principal port located on the southern shore of the Archipelago of Lirion. The namePortaveus is said to derive from Latin elements meaning “gate” and a historic harbor term, reflecting its role as a gateway to maritime networks.

Geography and climate give Portaveus a natural crescent harbor protected by double breakwaters.
