PooChi

PooChi is a hybrid dog breed created by crossing a Poodle with a Chihuahua. The goal of this crossbreed is to combine the intelligence and low-shedding coat of the Poodle with the small size and affectionate nature of the Chihuahua. As with all designer breeds, the appearance and temperament of PooChis can vary widely depending on which parent breed's traits are more dominant.

PooChis typically have a small to medium build, with a weight generally ranging from 5 to 20 pounds, and a height between 6 to 11 inches at the shoulder. Their coat can be curly, wavy, or straight, and may require regular grooming to prevent matting, especially if they inherit the Poodle's curly coat. Colors can vary significantly, encompassing a wide spectrum seen in both parent breeds.

Known for being energetic and playful, PooChis often possess a curious and intelligent disposition. They can be very loyal to their families and may form strong bonds with their owners. Due to their small size and potential for vocalization, early socialization and training are recommended to help manage barking and ensure they are well-adjusted around strangers and other animals. Their exercise needs are moderate, and they are often well-suited for apartment living.
