Pinnoitemenetelmä is a Finnish term that translates to “coating process” or “finishing method.” It refers to the techniques used to apply a protective or decorative layer to the surface of a material. The goal of pinnoitemenetelmä is usually to improve durability, resist corrosion, enhance aesthetic appearance, or add functional properties such as electrical insulation, heat resistance, or friction reduction.
