Pierce-Arrow, commonly known as Pierce-Arrow, was an American luxury automobile manufacturer based in Buffalo, New York. The Pierce-Arrow Motor Car Company began producing cars in 1901 and remained active through the late 1930s. The brand became known for high-quality construction, generous dimensions, and refined coachwork that appealed to wealthy buyers and automotive enthusiasts.

Models spanned touring cars, sedans, and limousines, typically powered by inline engines and later larger six- and eight-cylinder configurations. The company offered extensive customization and was recognized for its distinctive styling, including the Arrow hood ornament and a strong emphasis on durability and ride comfort. In its heyday, Pierce-Arrow competed with other prestige brands such as Packard and Cadillac.

The onset of the Great Depression and evolving market conditions led to financial difficulties, and automobile production ceased after the 1938 model year. The Buffalo plant closed, and the Pierce-Arrow company pivoted away from car manufacturing. Surviving examples are rare and are treasured by museums and private collectors, with several cars preserved as milestones of early American luxury automotive design.
